Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. She made her screen debut with Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. She can fluently speak French, German English, and Romanian. Her father is an theater teacher at one of the country's highest-rated theater schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award in the young Actor Gala Mangalia. The award was given to her as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. Also, she appeared as a child in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. She was also in 2008 as Yasim anwar, a character from the BBC 5-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the feature film Fury (2014) in which she played Irma, an German woman who was Emma's aunt.
