Following her graduation with a Master's degree in Fine Arts, she studied at the American Conservatory Theater. Belknap has numerous television credits, including the role of a regular on series like Medical Investigation, Third Watch, ER, The Handler as well as Deadline. PEOPLE received a press announcement from the couple which read: "We can confirm we've made the choice to split. The decision was made in a peaceful and mutual way."
